Trnava Park Shopping Centre is conveniently located at the edge of Trnava, on a motorway junction and is adjacent to the PSA Peugeot Citroën car manufacturing plant; one of the largest direct foreign investments in the country, which employs approximately 3,000 staff. Baumax, the Austrian DIY chain store, have opened a major superstore on the site next to the proposed shopping centre. This area is therefore already established as a commercial hub.
Trnava Park Shopping Centre is strategically located off the D1 highway which connects Slovakia’s capital city Bratislava, and the northern city of Zilina, with direct access from the 51 bypass.
The site has quick connection to this motorway, with good accessibility and visibility from both directions. Trnava, being a vibrant and historic 13th century university town, is only a 40 minute drive (45 km) away from Bratislava and a 35 minute drive (40 km) from Nitra. Trnava has a population of 70,000, rising to 140,000 within a 10 minute drive of Trnava Park Shopping Centre and 570,000 within a 45 minute drive of the site.
